We've all heard the phrase, "carbon footprint." What's your "carbon footprint?" Reduce your "carbon footprint." Do we all really know what it means? Per the definition by Wikipedia, a carbon footprint is "a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide." I will give you a moment to read that one more time and slowly.
In my own words, the amount of energy I take up, consume or waste in our big universe, and how that contributes in the grand scheme of that thing called global warming. My future is about reducing, recyling and renewing. In essence, leaving a barely there carbon footprint. Note to self: I must walk lightly and carry a fantastic shopping tote.
